Thinking others can sort out my life
You can rely on yourself
Over the last week or so, I’ve spent ages making a variety of decisions and then, on reflection, chastising myself for doing the wrong things. In each case, I knew beforehand what the right action was, but I did the wrong thing because something about it appealed to me.
For example, in […]
Being tempted to quit my education early
I was wrong about being wrong to study.
I’d all but given up on my MA programme, because my essays were making me miserable. However, I couldn’t just quit, so I told myself I’d make a last attempt by throwing myself in to studying as one of my 30 day experiments.

Hiatus, sorry
Well, I really didn’t want to do this, but I’m just too busy. Consequently, no more Make More Mistakes posts until January 2007. By which time, I’ll have a small stock of entries and will be able to resume my fortnightly schedule.
In the meantime, I will continue to update All Things Bright religiously, every other day (I’ve just posted, in fact).
Sorry to disappoint; keep reading All Things Bright & I’ll see you back here in the New Year!
If you’d like me to remind you when I start posting here again, just leave a note to that effect in the comments. Thanks!

If you’ve never considered it, I hope this will provide some food for thought. Either way, please let me know if you have any questions. Mac users, let me know of your experiences. I’ve yet to find someone who regrets switching to a Mac, do you know of anyone? [ Full article ]
Overlooking old journal entries & websites
Mistake 006: The amount of information available online about individuals is staggering. This should be a source of concern for everyone, but especially those whose profession relies on efficient & effective branding & marketing: entrepreneurs. Take control of your online identity by creating an official profile, claiming your ClaimID & working through John S. Rhodes’ list at WebWord to monitor & manage your reputation. [ Full article ]
